Carol Coronado, REALTOR®
Hello! My name is Carol Coronado, and I was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas. I graduated from Harlingen High School in 2015, and shortly after graduation I began my journey in real estate with Lolly Burns Real Estate. After years of learning the business behind the scenes and gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of the industry, I earned my real estate license in 2021 and officially began helping buyers and sellers throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Being deeply rooted in Harlingen has allowed me to build meaningful relationships throughout the community both personally and professionally.
My journey into real estate didn’t begin in the most traditional way. I became a mom at a very young age, and those experiences taught me responsibility, resilience, and the importance of hard work early in life. I worked while attending school and learned quickly what it meant to push through challenges while still chasing bigger goals for myself and my family. Those life experiences continue to shape the way I connect with my clients today — with honesty, understanding, communication, and compassion.
Over the years, I’ve learned that real estate is about so much more than buying and selling homes. It’s about helping people through some of the biggest decisions and milestones of their lives. My husband Eli and I personally experienced that when we purchased a lot and custom built our own home from the ground up. Going through that process firsthand gave me valuable insight into building timelines, selections, budgeting, communication with builders, and the emotions that come with creating a home from scratch. Because I’ve personally been through it myself, I love helping clients who are considering building and guiding them through the process with realistic expectations and confidence.
Outside of real estate, community involvement has become a huge part of my life. I proudly serve as a Director for the Harlingen Board of REALTORS®, and during my first year as Chair of the Community Outreach Committee, I helped bring the Harlingen Board of REALTORS® BBQ Cookoff to life alongside the support of the board. Seeing that event grow into something that gives back to our community has been one of my proudest accomplishments.
When I’m not working real estate, you’ll usually find me on a softball field or at a cheer event. My husband and I coach a local 14U girls softball team, we dedicate countless hours to mentoring and encouraging these young women both on and off the field. I’m also a proud stepmom to my stepson Nathan, who is growing into such a great young man. My oldest daughter, Leah — better known around the softball fields as “Lefty Leah” — shares the same love and passion for the game that we do, while our youngest daughter Sophia keeps us busy in the cheer world. Depending on the season, I quickly switch from softball coach to cheer mom, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I also manage the social media and marketing for our office, allowing me to combine creativity, staging, branding, and presentation to help market homes effectively in today’s digital world. I truly enjoy showcasing homes in the best way possible and understand the importance of strong marketing and presentation in real estate.
